Milo has entered a charming new phase of loquaciousness. He can't pronounce R's at all. Some L's, Y's W's get reversed or lost all together. Baga and Nini spent the better part of a recent weekend finding phrases they could get Milo to say that maximized these consonants. The winner: "wello OhTooDeeTood" (yellow R2D2).
He has his sister's dramatic flair: long pauses and languid modifiers such as "Well..." and "Actually..." (minus some actual L's); frequent scrunching of the mouth, nose and eyes, thoughtful putting of knuckle to chin.
He has a lot to say. All the time. It's like the Narrator, Part 2. This loud and constant voice covers a wide range of topics, including:
...his meals. "Mom, I don't like carrots. They are [eyes roll dramatically] NOT delicious."
...his dreams. "Last night, I was a astronaut on a spaceship. AND [big brow raise]... we had a horse with us and we went far away from earth."
...his frustrations. "UHHGH [tosses head back]. What [extends arms incredulously]? Really [shakes fists]?"
We're pretty much at his mercy. Lu loves him, but will likely kill him soon.
